Biography Our History

The group “Le Soleil de Naples” was established in 2016 through the meeting of three friends, Giandomenico Cappuccio, Pasquale Ferraro and Vincenzo Di Nocera, tenors in the chorus of the Opéra of Monte-Carlo, who share the fundamental characteristics, romance, passion and joy of life, essential in the interpretation of classic Neapolitan song.

Over the course of these years they have performed at various important events: in a recital on the prestigious stage at the Les Choregies d’Orange 2019, at the press conference of the 2020/2021 season of the Opéra of Monte-Carlo, in collaboration with the association “Les Anges Gardiens” in the “Empire Room” at the Hotel de Paris, Monaco, at the Monte-Carlo Beach club for the Italian Embassy of Monaco on the occasion of the Italian Republic Day as well as many other charity concerts in aid of worthy humanitarian causes.

Summer 2020 was the opportunity for the group to produce their first tour, touching several outdoor arenas in the French Provence region: Arles, Vaison la Romaine, Orange, Nice, Monte-Carlo, Ollioulles, Eyguières, welcomed by a large and warm audience.

They performed in a recital at the Les Saison de la Voix Festival in Gordes (French) for the 2021 Music Festival, confirming the success and popularity of Neapolitan classical music.

Soon they will be performing a recital on World Music Day 2020 at the Les Saisons de la Voix festival in Gordes, confirming, yet again, the success and popularity of classical Neapolitan music.

The affinity created between the three members, no doubt favoured by their common origin, fully transmits the warmth and light of the city of Naples.
